Set in Portsmouth on the South coast of the UK, this is an authentic and touching love story of two young people trying to make it work against the odds. Kyle (Aki Omoshaybi) and Jamie (Pippa Bennet-Warner) are both struggling for work and battling with personal issues that threaten their new, fragile relationship. Reluctant to reveal their true situation to one another to begin with, in time they learn to trust and support each other through the difficulties and hardships that they face.
